Hello,

a bit about me:

I'm a Fashion Branding and Buying student who have currently studied in Hong Kong Design Institute, major stream as visual merchandising in the last two years. To me, fashion is more like to be a personal level which is a form of art and self-expression that can delineate a message about one's self and desire it to allow for one to grow and to become confident that I want to be a visual merchandiser or engage in brand promoting and marketing job in the fashion retail industry in the future.

 

 In my perspective, fashion retail plays a virtual role and bridge to connect between the manufacturers and consumers which I think a successful fashion brand required an efficient brand commercial strategy to connect all consumers and sales touch points which can enhance a well customer's experience and build their brand loyalty.

Besides, to my mind, brick and mortar stores are still indispensable, especially in fashion, while the online shopping is more popular nowadays and a visual merchandiser play a critical role in the look, feel and culture to the brand that a well visual merchandising strategy can create awareness whilst simultaneously increasing brand loyalty and the most important is to draw customers into the shop and close the sale, which is all dependent on the aesthetic quality of the retail display and I hope I can design the window displays for different brands with my own ideas one day.
